Rip with Test & Copy

Follow this step, then use the next button at the bottom. This keeps the guide readable and avoids burying important settings in one long page.

  • Confirm every track you want to preserve is checked.
  • Use Test & Copy Selected Tracks > Compressed. This produces FLAC output while still giving a stronger verification trail.
  • Do not interrupt the rip. Damaged or difficult discs can take a long time.
NMP note: A slow secure rip is better than a fast rip with weak verification.
