Set metadata options

Follow this step, then use the next button at the bottom. This keeps the guide readable and avoids burying important settings in one long page.

  • Choose a metadata provider that works for your setup. MusicBrainz, CTDB, or freedb-style sources can help, but do not treat metadata as proof.
  • Always compare metadata against the physical copy: front cover, disc face, spine, barcode, catalog number, matrix text, and inserts.
NMP note: For NMP, physical source details matter more than imported metadata.
