Set EAC options

Follow this step, then use the next button at the bottom. This keeps the guide readable and avoids burying important settings in one long page.

  • Open EAC Options from the EAC menu and work through the relevant tabs shown in the screenshots.
  • Keep log files in English when possible so review tools and staff can read them consistently.
  • Do not normalize audio. Normalization changes levels and is not acceptable for archival ripping.
  • Use a simple filename pattern such as %tracknr2% - %title%. Avoid folder paths inside the filename scheme because those paths can break CUE sheets later.
NMP note: Good CUE files reference filenames only, not private folder paths from your computer.
