About Evanescence

Evanescence is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Little Rock, Arkansas, by Amy Lee and Ben Moody. The band combines elements of alternative metal, gothic rock, and post-grunge. They gained international recognition with their debut album, Fallen (2003). The band is known for its dark musical style and lyrics exploring themes of personal struggle, loss, and identity.
