Established in 1997 in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A. by Jason Popson, Jack Kilcoyne, Steve & Dave Felton. Representing the love of their hometown pride & love, they named the band after Cleveland's pre-designated phone number prefix (216).
They have released one album, their self-titled, "Two One Six," on Mushroomhead Inc. Records in 1998. Some time the same year they released a split 7" vinyl with Schnauzer. In 2000 their debut album was repressed, this time not on Mushroomhead Inc. Records.
